Message from the Superintendent

Dear Friends of the Biddeford Public Schools,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to visit the websites of our five public schools, our Regional Center of Technology, and our Adult Education Program. I am sure you will be impressed with our newly renovated high school which will be completed by September 2012.

The main function of the Biddeford Public Schools is to prepare its students for the world of work and to challenge them to meet their future career needs. The academics, the arts, and the athletics are emphasized along with co-curricular activities. Technology is used by staff, students, and administration.

I am sure that there will come a time when you will need to know more about our policies, our rules, our regulations, etc. that are posted on our website. Please feel free to call us or email us with your questions. We will be happy to communicate with you.

Finally, you should know that I have been impressed with the administrators, the teachers, the school committee, the parents and the members of this community. I have enjoyed my contacts with everyone connected with the Biddeford Schools. Attending the special programs performed by Biddeford’s students has been a rewarding experience. Getting to know these young people has been a joy. I found them to be dependable, cooperative, and enthusiastic. I would like to thank them as well as you for your support. It’s been a pleasure to work in Biddeford.
