B.I.S. offers several extracurricular activities for students.    

Drama Club

Our school Drama Club is available to all students. The Drama Club is directed by a B.I.S. staff member. The club meets after school to rehearse scripts/plays. There is a final production for all students.

Chorus

The Biddeford Intermediate School Chorus is available to all students. Two concerts are held during the school year. Regular attendance at after-school rehearsals is mandatory. Rehearsals are held from 2:45 to 3:25 on Wednesdays. A late bus is available for students at 3:25 P.M.

Homework Club

The Biddeford Intermediate School Homework Club is organized by a classroom teacher.   The Homework Club meets one day a  week from October-March. It gives the students the opportunity to work on homework in a quiet setting and get help from a teacher. This is a popular program where students are chosen on a first come basis. The program consists of 20-25 students. Busing is provided at 3:25 P.M.

Intramural Program

The Biddeford Intermediate School Intramural Program is available to all students. This program is co-ed and offered twice a year.  Intramurals consist of a variety of activities such as indoor soccer, volleyball, flag football, basketball, running challenges, and mini-wiffle ball. Participation is limited to twenty-five students per grade level and on a first-come basis.
